Is robot vacuum worth?

Actually, the answer is depends on your expectation. If the outcome passes your expectation, then I think it worth which in my case yes! Its worth. My robot do clean my floor well. It will not look polish and shining but still for a daily cleaning it acceptable and most importantly its energy and time saving.  I didn’t put high expectation on this robot vacuum, I just need some help on sweeping the floor daily and the outcome really beyond my expectation. Using a robotic vacuum to clean your floors is still much easier and cleaner than sweeping yourself using the broom. But unlike the regular vacuum there certain unreachable area that the robot can’t do cleaning like in the corner space but it was less noticeable. So I’m okay with it.

The only thing I wish it could done better is the mopping. It's just wetting the floor without the ‘mopping’ effect. It might not remove old dirt on the floor. Since I’m not expect much on mopping (as I mention above I just need help on daily floor sweeping), so I’m not disappointed but if you wanted a better mopping I suggest you to buy a robot vacuum with an advance mopping feature or buying a robot vacuum that focus on vacuuming only (without mop) and buy other better cleaning gear for mopping like mop steam, mop turbo etc.

 

Will your home suitable for a robot vacuum?

 

After using it for a while now, there are some information I want to share hope it might help anyone to decide whether your home suitable or not. This is just my personal opinion, and you can agree to disagree. 

Wi-Fi. Some robot vacuum can work without wi-fi, but most of it required an internet connection in order to use all the advance features available. Mobile network can use as well but you might not access all the features available.

Spacious House. Sweeping a spacious house took a long time and use a lot of energy. I need one hour or more, sweeping my house and still I didn’t satisfy the outcome but with the help of a vacuum robot, it only needs 100 minute vacuuming and so far I’m so happy with the result. Whereas with a small house, you may complete the work of sweeping or vacuuming in a shorter time while the robot took longer.

 

Less Furniture. Too much furniture, the robot will not do the vacuuming thoroughly.  I’ll go for cordless vacuum if your home have too many things in your house.

Don’t like sweeping or vacuuming the floor. You are the best candidate. Get yourself a robot vacuum and problem solve!
